Abstract

This research analyzes how the Komunitas Buku influences generation Z's enthusiasm for reading history on social media. The purpose of the research is to find out how the Komunitas Buku, especially the Komunitas Baca Buku Sejarah Bareng, influences generation Z's increasing curiosity in reading history on social media X. This approach mixes a case study methodology with a qualitative method. By doing observation, interviews, and documentation, information gathering methodologies were obtained. The Miles and Huberman interaction analysis model with a descriptive analysis approach was the data analysis method employed in the present research. The results of the research show that generation Z's enthusiasm for reading history is greatly influenced by the Komunitas Buku on social media X. Anyone makes an attempt by reading challenges with prizes, discussing with authors about books, and expressing thoughts through book reviews. Participation in the community and the desire to read history books both rise with this activity.
