Optimalisasi peran perpustakaan dalam implementasi literasi digital di perguruan tinggi

Along with the development of information and communication technology, the role of libraries in the digital era is increasingly essential. This research aims to identify and analyze libraries' strategies to increase digital literacy in higher education. The research method used is qualitative with a multi-site design, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation involving libraries at IAIN Ponorogo and IAIN Kediri. The research results show that libraries play a vital role in strengthening digital literacy through various initiatives, such as providing access to digital resources, training librarians, and developing digital literacy classes for library students. In addition, collaboration between library programs and, faculties and information technology centers is very effective in creating an environment that supports strengthening students' digital literacy. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of libraries to innovate and adapt to technological developments to meet students' digital literacy needs. The recommendations include improving technological facilities, developing sustainable training programs at each faculty through courses, and strengthening collaboration between libraries and faculties to create a more holistic digital literacy ecosystem.
